In a few days, President Obama will be going to Israel. This is his first trip to the Jewish state since he became President, and he is going with an urgent agenda—to divide the Holy City of Jerusalem and accelerate the creation of a Palestinian state with much of Jerusalem as its capital. He is hoping this will be the great international legacy of his second term in office.
There is no doubt in my mind that if this plan succeeds, God will judge America in a way we have never seen in our history. The outcome of his plan does not just threaten Israel’s future, but that of America as well. God will not allow us to contradict His Word in such an open and blatant way.
The actions of the Obama White House toward Israel are impossible to understand without first acknowledging their worldview. The desire to negotiate no matter the cost gives rise to the U.S. becoming an unwitting cohort to the jihadists.
The reality is that President Obama is no friend of the nation to which the Jewish people dream – a truly Jewish state. He subjects Israel to scorn and ridicule with his brash statements such as, “Israel doesn’t know what’s good for itself.”
He will likely go into the Palestinian Territory and embrace Jew-haters who not only refuse to recognize the Jewish state, but sponsor kindergarten camps to train children to be racists, become jihadists, and future terrorists.
It seems impossible for President Obama to see moral issues clearly through his moral relativism. He rejects absolute standards of good and evil, right and wrong. To him, the Jew-haters in the Middle East are perfectible and are on a path toward enlightenment.
There is a crisis brewing. The battle that will be waged in Jerusalem this Spring will be a battle between two books, two kingdoms, and two spirits – a perfect and prophetic storm.
My old friend Prime Minister Netanyahu has so far been unable to form a new government after the recent Israeli elections, and members of the Obama White House are behind the scenes pushing the Israeli political leaders NOT to join a new government in an attempt to remove the PM from office even though he won a majority of the votes to become Prime Minister.
Your prayers are desperately needed right now. Our only hope for the U.S. to stand fully with Israel is for God to change the HEART of our U.S. President. Pray Proverbs 21:1 today: “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.” NKJV
Plus, I am going to Israel next week on an urgent mission as your ambassador. And though I did not plan it this way, God did; I will be there during President Obama‘s visit…but with a very different message. I will be there to tell the Jewish people and the leaders of Israel that they must stand firm—and that they are not forgotten or forsaken.
The next few weeks are literally some of the most critical times in the entire modern existence of the nation of Israel. The Jewish state is surrounded by her enemies. The future of the government of Israel is uncertain. We must stand for God’s Chosen People now as never before in prayer and public support.
